When we speak about music, in Malaysia which in this blog we called Malaya (hahaha) there are new era of music that we called Indie. They said that Indie was a new trend in the music industry in Malaysia. One of them is an alternative rock/Indie band named Hujan. Hujan was formed in early 2006, and their music influence by "The Strokes" and "Butterfingers". They used to performed in United Kingdom not to just promote theirs' two EPs '1,2,3, Go!' and 'Check, check, Rock, rock', but also sold t-shirts and Hujan limited badge. They performed at Oxford Bar (Manchester), Zanzibar (Liverpool), Sheffield, and Cardiff. Hujan's members are Noh (vocalist,guitar), AG Coco (guitar,keyboard), Acer/Ambobzeela (drummer), Jaja (bassist). I wrote this post b'cause my cousin love this Hujan band so much. P/s: Although Hujan was 'fucked' by little in Malaysia but they still has proved that Indie rock is an evolution.....:P
