Weezer is an alternative rock band from Los Angeles, California formed in 1992. At their first formed, the band consisted of Rivers Cuomo as lead vocal and guitar, Patrick Wilson as drummer and backing vocalist, Matt sharp as bassist, and Jason Cropper as guitar. Then Cropper was later replaced by Brian Bell. Matt Sharp was subsequently replaced by Mikey Welsh who was then later replaced with Scott Shriner. They released six full-length albums, three EPs, and a DVD. Weezer has sold more than six million records in the US to date. Their genre(s) alternative rock, Emo, Geek rock, punk rock, power pop.
