AJL 23 - MEET UNCLE HUSSIEN

Iluminasi Music - Anugerah Juara Lagu 23, suitable with its' name, AJL 23 was well-known as the most prestige competition which competing who will the best-song ever created in Malaysia. This year, AJL was dominated by the Indie band, Meet Uncle Hussien. Meet Uncle Hussien was not the first band that has won the AJL's champ, but others like Search, Spider, Estrange used to won this title, then followed by Meet Uncle Hussien this year.
Meet Uncle Hussien consisted with their's band members, Lan (vocal,guitar), Taja (backup vocal, guitar), Kudux (drum) and Afat (bassist, backup vocal) and theirs' song 'Lagu Untukmu' has make them won this year champ. On the AJL 23, they performed their best and I think that was the best performence that they ever did. Song 'Lagu Untukmu' was created by Taja, Tass and Lan and they said it was for theirs' rebellious friends...x_x..
They really turned the suburian-teenagers at my place into the fanatic-indie-band and has opened the eyes about the real potential, quality of Indie music. May Malaysian's music grow world-wide, and Indie music are its begining, compete with others in this rough,huge arena. Thanks to gua.com.my for theirs' nice pic.

P/s: while we were pleased about MUH's victory, let we think a second about ours' buddy in Paletine. Malaysian support Indie music and Palestine, and we hate those who labeled Muslim as terrorist!

Ajl was one of the most prestige competition for the music industry in Malaysia. Well, everyone performed their best last night. Well done for everyone that compete in the Ajl 23! Great job to TV3 for their service to bring the Ajl23 live for everyone in this country!!!

1. Sofaz - Bukan Di sini ; they really doing great that night!
2. Aizat - Errr..... ; Aizat was wearing a 'No War' badge. I like his badge.
3. Aiman - Dusta Berkalang ; For me it is very creative to wear a crown such as a wizard. :p Middle East theme? Really lot of guts to performed in that way.
   
4. Faizal Tahir - Cuba ; No doubt that Faizal really has big Fan. Awesome vocal! Power performence. Gothic! With that guitar in his hand seem liked that Faizal really played it. This song was created by himself! :)
5. Faizal Tahir - Sampai Syurga ; Woo.. when I saw this on my tv, I'm so amazed. Faizal is really creative on perfomed his song. The gimmick was really awesome, unpredictable! He cut his hair on that stage? Not any of the former singer in Ajl history did gimmick like Faizal did! This song won three title : Best Performence, Best Vocal, and Champ of Ballads. Welldone Faizal!
6. Estrange - Yang Pernah ; Former champ of Ajl 22 brought their song in such a gimmick! Their band member was behind the white thread, showed only shadow. Make me hard to predict what will happen next. Estrange is one of the success band in Malaysia. Really simple and energetic performence!
7. Ayu - Hanya Di Mercu ; The champ of One In Millions tv reality program brought the power-pop song perfectly. Ayu's vocal really awesome! Great outfit and nice microphone which Ayu was using on that night. :) Ayu look like Beyonce maa.. Like Ally said, "Tuah ayam nampak di kaki, tuah Ayu nampak di rambut"... :p
8. Zahid and Heliza - Doa Dalam Lagu ; For this song, Mawi was suppose to couple with Heliza but he taking break after his marriage lately. Hence, Zahid will replaced him to brought this song. Zahid really was a best-choice to replaced Mawi for this song. Good job Zahid and Heliza!!! :)
9. Spider - Bila Nak Saksi ; Former champ of Ajl brought this song with a simple way. Simple and awesome. Spider really has their own style and quality.
10. Stacy - Aku Stacy ; Acrobatic opening gimmick. Wow! Gothic face+curly hair+yellow-gold pant = Sabahan people! :p Stacy was very energatic on that night. And she also can catch-up her breath when she was singing and dancing like that! Tak semput ker??
11. Ziana Zain - Dingin ; Auntie Ziana really looks beautiful with that white outfit. Looks younger than her true age. Auntie Ziana make me remind to 'Snow White' hehe..Make me amazed when she push-out her voice. She really don't need any prop, back-up dancer to make her performed great but totally captured the stage by her vocal! Pooowweerrr..

    Meet Uncle Hussien - Lagu Untuk Mu ; wow! Clown face! Crying clown face! Really suitable with this song. This Indie band really has a big fan. Very power vocal-performed from Lan. The best ever performed. Meet Uncle Hussien really doing an evolution to the music in Malaysia! No wonder they won last night! The Champ of Ajl 23!!! won : Champ of Ajl, Champ of Pop-rock. p/s: After heard of their winning last night, I was so amazed that I even had splash on my desk with Nescafe!
    
    
13. Farawahida - Persoalan Cinta ; Farawahida competed this song for the category of creativity, no wonder her perfomed was so colourfull! With fan and Chinese fan dancing make Farawahida really hot that night! Won : Champ Of Etnik Creative. Well done Fara..
14. Ellyana - Kalis Rindu ; What happen to Ellyana's microphone??? Idle within seconds might affect the real quality of Ellyana's performence. Ellyana really cute sitting on that stair while singing. Huhu...

JUARA LAGU 23 - MEET UNCLE HUSSIEN

After all that I'm not posting any update here..I think it is already almost 2 week and I getting miss to wrote. Haha.. Well it is prefect time and place. Perfect time, right now, 18th January. Tonight one of my idol band will be performed, compete in the Malaysian's 'Juara Lagu 23'. Perfect place, in-front of my computer and a cup of hot coffee. What a day to wrote. huhu..
Meet Uncle Hussien will be performed tonight at the most prestige song competition in Malaysia (Malaya..huhu). Their's song titled 'Lagu Untuk Mu'.x_x. will be compete in the category of pop-rock song. Well, introducing all the members of Meet Uncle Hussien band, Lan (vocalist,guitar), Taja (backup vocal,guitar), Kudux (drummer), and Afat (bassist, backup vocal). I hope they all will performed with all their best and won the 'Juara Lagu' title. All the best for you!
